"From Dust, To Dust" tells the story of the cycle of the universe and the transformation of matter through the symbol of pebbles, showing the romance and poetry I feel in the life cycle of all things in the universe. Pebbles are made up of particles produced by cosmic explosions. These particles travel through the wind of the universe and the mountains and seas on the earth, and now meet in a pebble. From the perspective of the length of time on the earth, each pebble is a momentary encounter in the life cycle of the universe. This small and ordinary object carries the long history of the universe and has incredible complexity, which prompts me to break away from the limitations of the individual and see the infinite cycle of life. In my creation, every grain of dust is a metaphor for the stars, and every pebble carries the memory of the geological age. I hope to use the language of jewelry to explain the narrative of the universe, time, and life, and to trigger the audience's feelings about the deep connection between humans and the world and nature.
