Digital Craft in Architecture

Our practice is deeply informed by the exploration of ‘New Tectonics’, sparked by insights from the Digital Craft in Architecture Master's program teaching. We are fascinated by how digital tools and craftsmanship can innovate AEC through CAAD method. The discovery of an enhanced, stable, mortar-free interlocking structure when rotated 45 degrees revealed an unexpected beauty and scalability. This journey reflects our hypothesis, teaching insights of tacit knowledge in digital craft, in integrating technologies with the inherent wisdom of craft (mind and body) to redefine circular building. It's about bridging thought with prototype exploration, fostering sustainable and innovative architectural solutions.
