Georgia Zhai

Georgia Zhai is a jewellery artist whose practice spans both adornment and moving image. Currently studying at the Royal College of Art, her work often begins with observations of how uniforms and visual systems shape the body, constructing a narrative of subtle resistance. Through this approach, she reconfigures symbols of power and explores the tension between control and vulnerability. Her current research focuses on the visual language of authority in wearable forms, with particular interest in how signs of power are internalised and challenged within contemporary social contexts.
