I explore what painting can become when it moves beyond the surface. I create environments where painting is not just seen but felt, inviting subtle sensory connections. Using mixed reality technology with the Quest 3 headset, I offer an optional way of viewing that simulates entering the surface of the painting and sensing its growth. I understand painting as a threshold for a new ecology, a site of transformation. My work invites others to slow down, to connect, and to soften the boundaries between surfaces we cannot fully define, opening space for a new ecology of perception.
