Jimin Lee

My work starts with a painting series using layered Hanji, sand, and pigment to explore memory and the passage of time. I create new narratives that connect personal and collective histories by editing the flow of time and the quiet traces it leaves. From painting, my practice expands into installation, photography, and moving image, using natural textures and subtle storytelling to reflect on impermanence and coexistence. I aim to show how overlapping timelines can be rearranged to reveal fresh perspectives on time and presence.
