Jundan Chen
Multimedia Artist
Jundan Chen’s practice is rooted in a deep exploration of material transitions. How substances shift, stretch, and respond to new forms. Through experimental and process-driven methods, she constructs works that blur the boundaries between softness and rigidity, surface and structure. By layering and reconfiguring materials such as textiles, glass, and metal, Jundan investigates the emotional resonance of subtle distances and tactile contrasts. Her work often centers on the quiet spaces between movements, where objects seem to carry memory and reflect intimate, internal states. Through this approach, she develops a visual and material language that connects memory, matter, and emotion.
