Moonlight Choker in Yellow and Blue Bismuth

Sara Chyan explores the unique temperature-aware colour and geometric shapes of bismuth to create stunning one-of-a-kind jewellery pieces.  
 
Bismuth is a rare low-melting point metal. It is commonly used in fire detection systems, electrical fuses, stomach medicines, cosmetics and pigments and bullets. But Sara used it in makingjewellery. The oxidation of bismuth is spectacular, where natural crystalised forms and colours can tell us the temperature. One colour represents one temperature, so it makes each piece exceptional.
