This collection investigates the friction between individual survival and collective frameworks within urban landscapes.
By integrating ready-made license plates and blurred informational imagery with bold, vibrant painting, the work captures the paradox of contemporary city life—an unsettling coexistence of intimate proximity and systemic alienation. While licence plates represent institutional coding and tracking, the obscured, blurred data reflects the erasure of personal privacy and the anonymity of the self within the wider social matrix. By enveloping these bureaucratic elements in a witty visual vocabulary, the work prompts viewers to critically question their specific functions and identity definitions within communal structures. Ultimately, this shared empathy transforms personal precarity into a collective force that challenges systemic discipline and reclaims private space.
