Dream Residues originates from a state suspended between wakefulness and dreaming.

The works are created using leftover clay from daily studio practice—materials repeatedly handled, cut, and reshaped, gradually losing their original purpose. Rather than restoring these remnants to functional forms, I allow their accumulated traces and internal tensions to guide the making process, letting forms emerge through an almost unconscious engagement with the material.

The resulting shapes are not strictly designed but appear as residues of the subconscious—compressed, eroded, and reassembled through gestures of pressure, repetition, and release. They exist between vessel, body, and landscape. Rough surfaces and hollowed interiors evoke the instability and recurrence of dreams, reflecting how emotions and memories sediment over time. The work does not depict dreams themselves, but what lingers after waking: fragments that resist clear narration yet continue to shape our inner landscapes.
