Dust 2 Dust explores how perceptions of “perfection” shift when machines can not only compete with human precision and consistency but often surpass them.

As flawless surfaces and technical accuracy become increasingly accessible, our values have begun to move towards the clarity of an idea, the relevance of a concept and, at present, the visible traces of human decision-making.

Drawing on streamlined trains, brutalist architecture, Soviet cosmism and post-industrial environments, Dust 2 Dust reflects on technological optimism through its subsequent consequences: extraction, overproduction and a lack of ecological responsibility.

Where jewellery has often prioritised rarity and material cost, the collection proposes a more rational reconsideration of both material and process. A modular construction combines a non-precious structural base with recycled gold elements, reducing the use of precious metal while enabling straightforward future repair and replacement. The system is conceived with longevity, adaptability and responsible production in mind.

The resulting objects embrace an industrial aesthetic, proposing jewellery made to be worn, discussed and loved.
