Lixuan Huan is a visual artist based in China, working primarily with photography. She graduated from Newcastle University with a degree in architecture in 2022. Her creative practice is informed by a sensitivity to space, structure, and the unspoken layers of experience.
Out of Focus, In the Moment is a visual poem that pays tribute to warmth, movement, and mystery. It is not asking to be comprehended; it is inviting you to feel. Blurred textures and fiery hues dissolve meaning into sensation. Recognition is the only thing here, no teaching. No one taught me this; it comes from living, from noticing, from thinking gently. Through daily life, pauses, and passing moments, quiet knowledge is formed. The absence of clear form causes the imagination to stir. A blurred encounter that makes us aware — not of meaning, but of being.
