Apricity is a collection of sculptural porcelain lighting inspired by the Latin derivation of this word, meaning “the warmth of the winter sun”.
The lamps aim to translate this intangible emotional presence into material form, capturing this atmosphere through the translucency of porcelain. Rather than replicating the sunlight directly, the lamps evoke its quiet warmth through organic form, subtle surface variation, and a gentle ambient glow.
Each piece reflects an attempt to materialise this sensation of calm and comfort - transforming an invisible quality of light into a physical object for the home.
