Drawing on the symbolism of embryonic form and the temporality of inflation, the work embodies the process of “nascenting”—the emergence of matter, identity, and presence. Through hand-crafted latex techniques, the piece captures a liminal state where form is both vulnerable and potent, echoing biological birth and cosmological formation. Nascent reflects an ongoing inquiry into duration as material reality, and into the body as a site of soft transformation.
