As food becomes increasingly accessible, its value is often overlooked.
This project imagines a world in which cherishing food is rewarded with the highest honour. To realise this idea, I create a series of jewellery pieces using materials made from food waste, adopting the forms of historical objects associated with honour and status.
By bringing these materials into such symbolic forms, the work seeks to reframe how we perceive food, encouraging a renewed sense of respect, pride, and awareness in our everyday attitudes towards it.
