Zizi Vakili

The collection consists of seven textile-based sculptural forms, varying in height and arranged in proximity as a spatial installation.

Each piece stands independently while remaining visually and materially connected through threads, displaced fragments, and points of tension. Embroidered textiles are shifted from flat, decorative surfaces into fragmented standing bodies, where patterns appear incomplete, misaligned, altered, or visibly repaired.

Although the forms carry signs of rupture, change, and instability, they remain together as a collective presence, suggesting solidarity as something formed through damage, repair, and connection. Some fragments detach or fall from the structures, connected only by a single thread, creating a fragile relationship between separation and continuity. As viewers move between the works, they enter this field of relations and become part of the solidarity the installation proposes.
