Fei Wu

Fei Wu is a Chinese jewellery artist blending traditional craftsmanship with digital innovation. A graduate of the Royal College of Art, her work explores the poetic interplay between organic textures, 3D technologies, and material contrasts, bridging contemporary and high jewellery through a digital-handmade process.

Missed is a rose petal wall that blends nature and technology—real petals interwoven with digitally crafted metal ones, made through 3D printing and anodizing. The rose, symbolizing desire, love, and memory, becomes a medium to explore dualities: presence and absence, permanence and decay. Real petals subtly spell out the word missed, initially hidden among the metallic ones. As time passes and the natural petals wither, the word gradually reveals itself. This fading process reflects the emotional tension of the digital age—love felt through screens, absence archived in data. Missed becomes not just a word, but a trace of what lingers between the real and the simulated.
